A train for Nivea’s centennial
To celebrate its 100 years of business, the popular cosmetics brand has thought big and original. The Internet site will present the events to be discovered all year round. And Nivea will dip the public into the “bath” of cosmetics, during a travelling event… on board a train.
From the home page, the Nivea website (belonging to Beiersdorf, the German group) highlights its anniversary. The celebration offers them the opportunity to take many different actions.
Let’s start with the game: playing numbers. For 100 days the brand offers a game, with 100 gifts to be won, worth up to 10 000 €. Let’s go on with the link with its clients: “100 years of closeness” says another page leading to the Nivea newsletter subscription – to keep you informed of the next anniversary events.
Only one thing is missing – the icon: it’s done with Rihanna. What will the star do exactly? The site gives no precision about it, yet we learn the brand sponsors her next tour show.
And finally: the event! “The skin in Nivea’s extraordinary bathroom” is a discovery campaign (about senses, history and others), taking place on a train that will stop in 14 towns in France at the following dates:
